Printer Friendly Version Notification on the current regime of entry of domestic and foreign citizens into the Republic of Serbia –22.05.2020 @ 25 May 2020 01:32 AM

Decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia:

- From 22.05.2020, all border crossings of the Republic of Serbia are open, and function in the usual manner;

- The ban on entry into the Republic of Serbia and epidemiological measures for all categories of domestic and foreign citizens, have been lifted (special consent/entry permits are no longer required for domestic or foreign citizens, therefore border crossing procedures are returned to normal);

-  All persons entering Serbia, instead of isolation measures and the requirement to have a negative Covid-19 test, will be given at passport control a bilingual (in Serbian and English) warning about the measures to follow, in order to prevent the spread and to control the infectious disease Covid-19;

- All persons who were subject to a 14 day self-isolation period on entry into Serbia, which is still in force as at 22.05.2020, are no longer required to self-isolate, until further notice. 

Please note, travel arrangements from Australia/New Zealand to Serbia are the sole responsibility of the passenger. The Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Sydney is not and cannot be held responsible for the decisions and actions of foreign airline companies (or countries of transit), with whom a passenger has booked, bought or exchanged an airline ticket, for return to Serbia, or for a connecting flight that will enable him/her to arrive in Serbia.
